Dorothea S. Tumelty, age 91, a lifelong resident of Abington passed away October 22, 2013 at Edge Hill Nursing Home. Born in Ardsley, PA she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy Feisel. She was the past President of the Women’s Auxiliary of the North Penn VFW. Dorothea was married to the late Robert H. Tumelty for 60 years. She is the loving mother of Robert W. Tumelty (Diane) and Virginia Swarmer (Neal), grandmother of of Wendy Tumelty, Jennifer Gabel (Nate), Robert W., Jr. Michael (Laura), Christopher Swarmer and Shannon McCurdy (Thomas). Great grandmother of Connor Gabel, Aidan and Fiona McCurdy. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 1500 Marian Rd. Abington, PA 19001 where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Int. Hillside Cem. In lieu of flowers contributions to above church’s memorial fund would be appreciated
