FRANCES BLUHM RUBINSOHN, 88, of Meadowbrook, PA and Wrightsville Beach, NC died September 27, 2016. Born in Greensboro, NC, she was graduated (Phi Beta Kappa) from Duke University. She worked at the Franklin Institute, Abington Schools, and the Abington Free Library. Fran was active in the Abington Choral Club and many community theater groups. Her amazing piano skills were seen on display in many settings – from children’s theatre to way too many late night parties.She loved music, theatre, tennis, puzzles, bridge,mystery cruises,and above all her family and friends.Her generosity knew no bounds; she touched so many lives. Everyone loved Fran. She lived by the motto on her T-shirts: “Life Is Good!” A celebration of Fran will be held October 15, 11:00 am, Huntingdon Valley Country Club.
