Obituary for Antoinette Edenhofner (DiStefano)

Antoinette (Di Stefano) Edenhofner went to her eternal rest on January 20, 2014 with her family by her side at Twining Village, Holland, Pa. She was 87.
Born in Pittston, Pa, on May, 15, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Marzia DiStefano. Her family moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1937.
She was an executive secretary at SEPTA and its predecessor, the Philadelphia Transportation Company. She was involved in the United Methodist Women and Home and School activities for her children. She enjoyed reading, crafts and spending time with her family. After moving to Twining Village, she volunteered to read with the students at the nearby elementary school, worked in the library and gift shop and participated in many of the social events.
Beloved wife of the late John G. Edenhofner, Sr., she is survived by her son, John G. Edenhofner, Jr. (Carol) of Morrisville, Pa and her daughter, Annemarie Tan (Narciso) of Lexington, MA. She is also survived by her sister, Lydia Di Stefano, of Abington, Pa. and six grandchildren, Sarah, John and Matthew Edenhofner and Nathaniel, Antoinette and Jacob Tan.
